would like to say that Memphis, Tennessee is a place I would
like to return to. The reality is, despite being brought up
with Elvis's music, besides other musicians, I am not one
of the biggest fans. Do not get me wrong, I think he has some
excellent songs, some which I used to sing but just like any
other musician he also has some not very interesting songs.
see no reason why I should return to Memphis, a city that
needs lots of money to develop it's dying industry - following
a similar path where other US cities suffered a major revitalisation
in the last decade. I am also disappointed with the way people
speak there: no 'welcome' when you say 'thank you' but just
a major 'ihi' or 'ok'.
this I kind of enjoyed this discovery, probably once in a
lifetime experience where you see me travelling by plane from
Orlando, then crossing the Mississippi from Arkansas into
Memphis - which I would recommend to everyone to do it, avoiding
the city centre which seems to be more dangerous than other
very peaceful US cities.
visit to Memphis is complete without a visit to Graceland
and it's vast Elvis museum housed in several buildings; where
you find me filming outside the house, before travelling by
car all the way towards Nashville, in this unique American
a wonderful day.
