Venice Canal Grande May 2017

Venice's Canal Grande is one of the most beautiful in the world and that is why this city represents for me the most romantic place in the world. You have not only great food and weather most time of the year but great architecture and history to immerse yourself in.

Canal Grande is simply the main attraction in Venice and even say you are in the northern part of the city, near Piazzale Roma where the Bus Terminal is, or at the train station, you have the same great view from Ponte della Constituzione as you have from Rialto bridge in the middle of the city or Ponte della Academia located not far from San Marco square: great building and amazing architecture.

You have Ca' Pezzaro, Ca' Rezonico and so many other palaces overlooking the canal, not forgetting the last to be built, Palazzo Grassi that nowadays is a museum and as I write, in May 2017 houses an amazing exhibition by Damian Hirst. Even if you might not be a fan of his work, the imagination and grandiousness of this last collection is out of this world.

Check the clip and make up your own mind.

Have a wonderful day.
